I graduated in 2007 from Boğaziçi University with a degree in Psychological Counselling and Guidance. My early professional life unfolded within the corporate world, where I spent over 15 years working in management consulting and human resources across international and local organisations. During this time, I became deeply interested in the emotional and relational dynamics that shape professional life — the unspoken anxieties beneath achievement, the tensions within identity, and the internal conflicts that often accompany ambition and responsibility. This growing interest led me back to clinical training. I completed my MSc in Clinical Psychology at Üsküdar University and have since dedicated my work to psychotherapy.
I am now based in the United Kingdom and am a member of the British Psychological Society (BPS). I offer online individual psychotherapy to adults, both in Turkish and English.
My approach is psychodynamically informed. I am particularly interested in how early relational experiences, unconscious patterns, and recurring themes continue to influence how we think, feel, and relate to others. Often, present difficulties carry deeper histories. Therapy provides a reflective and contained space in which these patterns can be explored and understood within the safety of a therapeutic relationship.
Alongside my academic training, I remain committed to ongoing professional development and regular clinical supervision, which I consider essential to thoughtful and ethical practice. My additional training includes EMDR, schema therapy, and work with couples and relational dynamics.
I offer a collaborative and steady space where we can work at your pace — with depth, curiosity, and care.
